Ann + Jeffery
Ann knew right away that she was interested in a chalkboard look. I really hadn't had a chance to try anything like that before. I knew that couldn't be it though, so we did a pop of white for the RSVP card, so both could play off one another.
She SOOO wanted a gold detail, but putting an invite on a full printing press just for gold foil is expensive. So I decided to create a couple of stamps from the floral illustration. One evening up in her attic, we stamped each invite in two places with gold ink. It added a subtle touch of gold that really saved the budget.
And hand addressing envelopes or hiring a calligrapher isn't always the way you have to go. Instead we created an address label, but not just any address label. It was designed to match the invite and wrap around the envelope, with the back having her return address. This style allows people to not have to hand address 100s of envelopes, yet is styled and classy. Not like a peel and stick label.
