Alesha + Andrew

What designer hasn't dreamt of what their own wedding would look like?!?!? To say I went over board … is probably an understatement. But I enjoyed every second of it.

Our photographer, the lovely & talented Anna Jones, set the mood for our Save the Date, with a photo of us in an old ticket booth. And when Andy proclaimed that he wanted seersucker suits … I knew I had fallen in love with the right person. All the wedding elements seemed to fall into place after that.

I've always had a love of antique botanical prints from encyclopedias. We knew we wanted to be eclectically old-timey (if that's a thing), with as much handmade items as possible. Between the paper flower boutonnieres, painted wine bottles, hand stamped initials, wine glasses as votive holders, ribbon curtains and twists of light blue bakers twine, every piece looked and felt like OUR wedding.

The envelope calligraphy was done by Kathryn Murray and vintage stamps from Holly Bedell at The Paper Nickel. Both were the perfect final touches.

Cheers to love and to all of the people that helped us make our wedding THE BEST DAY of our lives.

XOXO - Alesha
